A CODA young adult subverts her family’s dated interpretation of a woman’s place in society.

Ladylike was a unique project to work on due to the upheld promise to authentic casting with the deaf and CODA talent. I got to re-sharpen my ASL skills with a very kind cast, was a point-person during pre-production, and helped to facilitate authentic storytelling.
